Hydroecology of Argyroneta aquatica’s Habitat in Hantangang River Geopark, South Korea

چکیده
The water spider (Argyroneta aquatic) is the only known to live a fully aquatic life. Therefore, it has been subject of series studies on various aspects its unique biology such as reproductive behavior, sexual dimorphism, physiology, genetics, and silk. However, there have relatively few hydroecology where spiders live. habitat in Eundae-ri, Yeoncheon for A. aquatica, globally rare species, South Korea. In this region, level wetland automatically adjusted groundwater owing continued drying. Here, surface water, wetland, near aquatica were studied using hydrochemical, microbiological, correlation analyses. hydrochemical properties—water temperature, pH, electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen (DO), oxidation reduction potential, turbidity—of similar. Piper diagrams revealed that wetlands, most portrayed Ca-HCO3-type properties, whereas areas was controlled displayed Na-HCO3-type properties. Furthermore, NO3 content too low be detected indicating clean non-polluted conditions; additionally, heavier oxygen-hydrogen isotopes observed because these regions climatically affected by wetland. dominant bacteria Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Cyanobacteria, Verrucomicrobia, Nitrospirae. analysis major environmental control factors DO, related Verrucomicrobia.

متن کاملAssessing the Habitat Suitability of Dam Reservoirs: A Quantitative Model and Case Study of the Hantan River Dam, South Korea
The main objective of this study was to investigate ecologically healthy regions near a dam reservoir. This study developed a model for assessing habitat suitability as a proxy for the ecological value of reservoirs. Three main factors comprising nine assessment variables were selected and classified as having a habitat suitability (HS) between 0 and 1: (1) geomorphic factors of altitude, slope...
